Description: Our vision is a community that embraces and integrates children of all abilities and treasures the unique gifts each child possesses. We support families with infants and toddlers of all abilities by enhancing their development and relationships both at home and in their community. A Step Ahead in Pierce County (ASAPC) has four expanded programs to comprehensively serve Pierce County families. ASAPC is now home to four programs: A Step Ahead (Early Support Services), BOOST (Foster & Caregiver Support), Playful Connections (Playgroups & Fieldtrips), and Bountiful Benefit (Resource Closet). BOOST and A Step Ahead offer Home Based Services: home visiting, special instruction/developmental services, speech/language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, infant mental health, vision services, and child find activities for children birth to three years old. Bountiful Benefit and Playful Connections are currently only accessible to families enrolled in A Step Ahead or BOOST services. **Contracted provider with Pierce County Developmental Disabilities
